How to forgive your younger-self and propel forward #36

Sarah Vee, Founder of Women of Hong Kong

· Podcast

Have you accepted your younger self?

Everyone struggles in life. We might be ready for the expected things that come our way, but what about the unexpected ones ? This was a heartfelt conversation with Sarah Vee. She is a single mom and her parenting journey has not been an easy one. We talked about the relationship with her son Jayden, how she struggled and handled the difficult questions when her son asked about his father and their marriage, and some of the issues women are facing. Inclusiveness starts with awareness.

Sarah is the Founder of Women of Hong Kong and has built one of the biggest communities in Hong Kong to provide a safe space for women who are dealing with different challenges in life.

A raw and emotional conversation. Definitely one of my favourites to date. As a parent of two and having lived through conflicts in my childhood, it's important as Sarah says, what grown-ups say to our children can shape up their belief system for many years to come.
